Who we are
trainwithagents is run from Detroit, MI. The same team runs AI PhD, trainwithagents, ragcreator, on one database: one account works on all three, and deleting it removes it from all three.
What we collect
- Your email address. You type it to sign in or to buy, and an account exists from the moment you start a checkout with it, even before you sign in.
- The work you send in to be scored: the full text you paste, up to 100,000 characters each time, with its score.
- On ragcreator, the documents you upload to the lab (up to 20 documents, 10 MB each) and the passages cut from them.
- What you bought and when, with Stripe's ids for the payment and the membership. Never your card number.
- Your email choice: whether you asked for practice emails, and when you stopped them.
- Your IP address, only to limit abuse (how many sign-in links or checkouts one address asks for).
- The steps of a visit to the free mission (a prompt copied, a score's range, the offer seen), the channel tags of the link that brought you (such as utm_source) and the kind of site that sent you (a search engine, an AI app, a social site, another site, or none), under a random id. Never the address of that site, and never the text you pasted or typed.
What we do not collect
No passwords: you sign in with a link we email you. No card numbers. No tracking pixels in our emails, no third-party scripts on our pages, no ad networks. We do not sell or rent anything about you.
Who else handles it
- Payment processor (Stripe): takes your card and billing details on its own checkout page, under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
- Hosting, storage and email delivery: runs the site, holds the database and your uploaded documents, and sends our emails.
- AI model providers: receive the text you submit so a model can help score it, and on ragcreator the passages of your documents so they can be searched.
- Product analytics: receives events such as a purchase or a first score, keyed by a random account id (on trainwithagents, before you sign in, by the random id in the twa_aid cookie). Never your email, never what you submitted.
The AI app you connect
You can use trainwithagents inside your own AI app, for example Claude or ChatGPT. Once you allow it, the app can fetch your next lesson, send your work in for scoring, and read your scores on trainwithagents. What the app reads is then also covered by that app's own privacy policy.
The app holds a key that works for 1 hour. It renews the key for up to 90 days, and the connection ends after 30 days unused. To disconnect, remove the connector in your AI app. Deleting your account disconnects every app at once.
Cookies
trainwithagents sets only these cookies, all its own, all hidden from page scripts.

One more thing stays in your browser: when you score your own answer to the free Mission 01, the answer is kept in this browser's storage, on that device only, so Day 1 can use it. It reaches us only if you press "Use my Mission 1 answer" on your first lesson, and it is cleared once you are past that lesson. It is never offered once it is older than 7 days, and the mission and lesson pages clear it when they find it that old.
How long we keep it
- Sign-in links work once and expire 15 minutes after we send them.
- A sign-in lasts 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Abuse-limit counters (an IP address, or your email) are cleared as new requests come in, once their window has been over for at least a day.
- Analytics events wait in a queue until they are sent, and are cleared from it 30 days later.
- Everything else in your account stays until you delete the account.
Your choices
- Delete your account in one step at /account/delete. It removes your account on all three schools, your work and scores, your documents, your sign-ins and every connected app, and stops each membership from renewing.
- What deletion keeps: Stripe's own record of your payments (kept for tax and accounting), analytics events already sent (no email, no work in them), our hosting logs for a short time (the IP address of a sign-in request that hit the limit), and a share card you made, which a cache may still serve for up to a day.
- Stop practice emails with the one-click link at the bottom of each one. Sign-in emails come only when you ask for one.
- For a copy of what we hold about you, write to jack@dotcomjack.com. We answer within 30 days.
Children
The schools are for adults. You must be 18 or older to make an account or buy.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
